This is my first doily and my first venture into the world of lace knitting with thin yarns. This doily is from the book A Gathering of Lace from XRX books. The yarn is the one listed in the book, Jamieson and Smith Cobweb-Weight Shetland. It is a very fine yarn made of 100% wool. Great to work with. The pattern was not that hard, but I think I did the bind off a little too tight, since the points didn't get very pointy.
